Always Know Where Your Skips Are

Fleet tracking usually means a GPS box in a lorry. That tells you where the vehicle is, which you mostly already know. It does not tell you that the 4 cube you dropped in Kuils River eleven days ago should have come back last Tuesday.

SkipOS tracks the bins. Every skip has a code and a status: in the yard, out on hire, overdue, or retired. Past about eight bins you can search by code, size, customer or address, and group the yard by size to see at a glance what you have spare.

Utilisation. A bin standing in your yard earns nothing, and a bin standing on a customer’s driveway past its collection date earns nothing either — but the second one also looks like it is working. The dashboard separates the two and puts a rand figure on the difference, at your own rates.
